Every precious-metal piece from dXb Jewels carries two marks: a purity stamp that states exactly what the metal is, and the dXb maker mark that says who stands behind it. dXb Jewels is a registered Canadian company, and under Canadian precious-metals marking rules a purity mark must appear together with the maker mark — we stamp both, on every piece.

What the Stamps Mean

  • 925 — Sterling silver: 92.5% pure silver.
  • 10K — 10-karat gold: 41.7% pure gold. The hardest-wearing gold alloy, made for everyday pieces.
  • 14K — 14-karat gold: 58.5% pure gold. The classic balance of richness and durability.
  • 18K — 18-karat gold: 75% pure gold. Deeper colour, softer hand, the fine-jewelry standard.
  • PLT — Platinum: a dense, naturally white precious metal that never needs plating to stay white.

Where to Find Your Stamp

On rings, look inside the band. On pendants, check the bail or the small tag near the clasp of the chain. On earrings, the stamp sits on the post or the back of the setting. The marks are small by design — they are a signature, not a decoration — and a loupe or your phone camera zoom will bring them up clearly.

Why It Matters

A hallmark is a promise that can be tested. Any jeweler, anywhere, can verify the metal in a stamped piece — which means the purity we claim is the purity you own, for the life of the piece. Combined with the dXb maker mark, it ties your piece permanently to our studio and our records.
